Impressions from Igromir on the 7th-8th.

By coincidence, I ended up on Igromir, and what is equally important – in Moscow for the first time.
These 2 days left a lot of impressions in my memory. A lot of joy, interesting discoveries and even one EPIC FAIL, which could have ended in serious showdowns and fines, but everything worked out. Below I will tell you everything, and at the same time I will post photographs, which, sorry, turned out to be not as good quality as I would like.
I’ll start from the very beginning – arrival. Considering that, compared to my city, the scale of Moscow and the Moscow region is simply enormous, at first my eyes ran in different directions. Crocus Expo, where the exhibition was held, consisted of 15 or more pavilions located in different buildings. Igromir was actually located in pavilion 13.
Walking inside, my eyes just ran wild. Music, someone is constantly talking, the pavilion is permeated every split second by light effects, and periodically they let in carbon monoxide smoke.

In addition, at the exhibition there were crowds of people made up as soldiers/warriors/magicians/inhumans and many other things.

I would like to tell you about closed shows, for which you had to stand in line for several tens of minutes, and exhibition novelties, but that’s all below, and first I’ll tell you about what actually stuck in my memory the most.
Autographs. Even before entering the exhibition, I already saw a bunch of people “familiar” to me. It’s so funny to recognize people you’ve never seen in your life. True, on the 7th, I completely failed.
When the person I would like to talk to stood in front of you, my legs turned to stone. And instead of coming up and saying something in the manner of: “WELL HELLO HELLO, HOW IS LIFE, WHAT ARE YOU DOING, I AM THIS, USER NAME, I WENT HERE FUCK KNOWS HOW MUCH, NICE TO MEET YOU, LET ME BABLA AUTOGRAPH, GLEB YOU OWE ME A BEER, THAT’S REALLY COOL”, I just stood there for about 5 minutes and walked past.
On the second day, I already realized that either now or who knows when, so I took a pen from the hotel and (ATTENTION, FAIL. ) having torn off a seemingly useless poster from the wall (an offer to buy a console), I ran around the exhibition like a maniac with a pen, looking for the people I needed.
So, after 2 hours I already had the autographs of Yaroslav, Gleb, Kostya, and Celebrion (why the hell did I take it? :D). It took me an hour and a half to find Max, and having found them, I finished a half-liter bottle of water in one gulp and followed them. But they were already getting ready to leave, and Max’s hands were busy – one was holding Trushka’s hand, the other was holding a briefcase and at the same time rummaging through documents.
Therefore, I realized that I should jump right in his face and say something like “Bro, you won’t sign?"wasn’t the best idea.
The last time, tiredly passing in front of the SG stand, I decided to take the promo version of Postal for 100 rubles, and then, in line, the seller of the same store jumped up to me (red-haired in a blue T-shirt, maybe you saw him if you were there), where I took the poster (by that time there were already 4 posters :D), and after looking closely, asked to give me the leaf. Well, I gave it, and he saw that it was an advertisement, and we had a diplomatic conversation:
"Eh, bro, you coolie are stealing our advertising? You’re not acting like a brother!!1
-I? Uh… mm… well..
-WHAT ARE YOU YELLING OUT?. THE FUCK TOOK IT.
-Well, I… didn’t know that it wasn’t possible. Yes, and I thought that in the future I would take one of these consoles.
-I don’t care! It was impossible to do this! Come on, give it back, yoma!
-“I give” Compensation for theft is needed?
-No. What, problems??
-No, sorry"
In total, I was left without posters and autographs. After that, I realized that if in our city, where 9,000 advertising campaigns didn’t bother anyone, and someone would have noticed if I had only cut down a billboard with a grinder, then they could have broken me, kicked me and given me a fine, and repeated this procedure at will. So I got off easy. But no one owed anything to anyone, and I fulfilled my goal – to take autographs and keep sheets of autographs, these are two different things. Yes.
Other than that, everything was pretty bad. I managed to get to the closed screenings of MV3, Hitman and Prototype – for Colonial Marines, Tomb Raider and Borderlands 2 the age was not suitable. All this time my mother was with me, who, oddly enough, deigned to leave me already at the moment when I was running around and taking autographs, but this did not bother me, and the freebies given to all visitors to the shows were double. What made it particularly lulzing was that my mother understood little about both computer games and English, so her questions regarding translations of titles simply killed me.
I’ll start with MV3. It was forbidden to film, otherwise they could have been beaten, packed in a box and sent to the desert, so under the spoiler.

When we sat down, at https://playtorocasino.co.uk/bonus/ first it seemed to me that we were a little duped, because the first part of the show was gameplay from E3. Here I think there is no need to explain anything.
But the second part was the mission “Mine The Gap”, in London. You saw this moment in the subway trailer. The detachment makes its way to the warehouse premises, where the terrorists (Russian?) pack HEX into vehicles for transporting goods so as not to arouse suspicion. After this, such trucks are taken out of the warehouse by convoy. The player’s goal is to intercept some of them. After a minute of stealth (although, what kind of stealth is there, nothing like that), the most “cunning” begins, with explosions and chases. When the soldiers reach the truck, they find it empty, and the priority changes to, and I quote, “Catch the bad guy.”!». At this moment I almost laughed. The whole thing moves to the subway, where a scene similar to the third part of the Metro 2033 presentation takes place. After three minutes of pursuit, the allied car loses control and is hit by a train (attention, not a carriage – a train!), and there is a really impressive (on the big screen) crash scene, during which it crushes us too. The presentation ends. After the exhibition, everyone was given a poster of the game with the opportunity to get an autograph from the game developer. Let me remind you that I also delivered a translation of the name of my mother’s game – “Duty Call”. Google Translate direct :3

Then it was up to Hitman.

Having sat down, the game developer began to show us the already known mission in the Library – the location is Copenhagen. The library was surrounded by police – and not just surrounded. It feels like the police were gathered from all over the city, and bending Hitman in an open battle is like 2 fingers in a socket. Hitman has a new ability – sense. When used, all people are visible through the walls and their path of movement is highlighted. After rolling around a bit and killing a couple of cops (at this point my mother noticed that “this librarian is kind of cruel”), Hitman turns off the electricity, and, taking a hostage, goes to the roof. Having reached the roof, dodging bullets, he sees a helicopter and a careless cop. Having shot him in the head with a previously taken pistol, Hitman changes into his uniform, and at first safely bypasses the helicopter. But he failed to hide, and now Hitman is running across the rooftops from a shooting helicopter. A very impressive scene was shown (not a video, gameplay) where Hitman makes his way through the dovecote – not in the sense, as you thought, but through the room in which our feathered friends were sitting in cages. Shots, a helicopter spotlight, flying feathers – it delivered directly. Later, Hitman, to the surprise of the audience, hides from the helicopter and ends up in a real drug den – having taken a hookah from a stoner, he deals with the cops who came running, and goes down the elevator to the bottom. Almost being discovered, he camouflages himself behind a donut stand, taking one while in the background about 20 commandos sneak into the building. After this, he, in a police uniform, goes out into the crowd of people waiting for their train at the metro station. Close-up. This ends the presentation. Afterwards, each visitor was given a branded mat and poster.

Our last visit to the show was dedicated to Prototype 2.
What really pleased me was that there was a man sitting next to me dressed as the hero Hitman. Of course, this was not a simple game fan who dressed up like that at Igromir, but a person who, like the others, worked as a “living character” at the exhibition. A barcode, a suit, a tie, leather gloves, a briefcase, a shiny pistol and a raised hand to the question “Who played the first part?”?"were quite surprised. Apparently the person really likes his job.

I won’t talk about the plot of the presentation itself – they showed 2 missions. I’ll tell you about the changes. Now the hero can use two of his abilities at the same time. The opportunity has arisen… believe it or not, to take and put a person on the ground, instead of squashing him against the wall. The hero now has a sense of smell and a hunting mode. Flair – shows his goals, who is watching them, and whether he is watching them at all, etc. The hunting mode combs the area in the manner of searching for a character, since now the location of the one we need is often unknown – only the name. Additional missions not only provide experience, but also advance the plot. The city is divided into zones. Now you can’t upgrade abilities for points – levels are distributed automatically according to the principle “the more often you use it, the stronger the upgrade will be”. The hero has become even harsher and blacker.

I managed to play a little more games that have not yet been released, but about them – very briefly:
Syndicate – killer action. The level we saw in the trailer was shown. Enemies can be subdued by forcing them to shoot at themselves and their comrades, generally blow up their heads, in a few fractions of a second, capture a turret and transfer it to our side, effectively perform “fatalities” in the first person, and in general, leave behind a long trail of blood. Highly recommended for shooter fans.
Afterfall – post-apocalyptic adventures of a medic, held me back for a couple of seconds. Instead of rags and slums, a hero dressed in a protective suit with two armed comrades walked around an unknown station and tried to do something there. The mission is clearly taken out of context, so most likely the game will have a “who knows how long before this” technique
Mass Effect 3 – Shepard has a fashionable holographic blade, which he can use to distribute very real babies. To be honest, I didn’t notice any other changes.
Overall, I really liked it. If anything, this is in some cases not a complete report, and one should be expected from SG after the end of Igromir. And here I just wanted to describe how the first Igromir in my life, which I went to, was like for me. Thanks everyone, everyone is free.

But I didn’t get to MV3 because there was a line almost 2 rings long around the stand..
And as for Epica, people there generally run wild because of freebies, I watched as one guy caught a T-shirt and at the same time fell, breaking his glasses, so a guy ran up to him and forcibly tore out the T-shirt while he was trying to find his broken glasses… I just went nuts then.
And so, in general, the gaming world was fruitful and interesting.
Told you everything well, catch it +
By the way, at the Skyrim presentation there was?
